| If
you've ever read the delightful book, "Children's Letters to
God," you'll notice right away that faith in God for a child
is a natural, wonderful thing. Kids believe in God. We take that
for granted in our Children's ministry. In fact, we count on that
to be rich, fertile soil to help them grow even deeper in a relationship
with Jesus. Everything we do is to help them grow "in wisdom
and stature and in favor with God and men." Which is our theme
verse (Luke 2:52) and our goal with your child in our Children's
ministry. |

| When you think of children, what comes to your mind?
Active, inquisitive, eager, smiles, teachable, cautious, accepting, needy, alert, impressionable, opportunity, the future… for all of these reasons, we regard our Children’s Ministry as very central to all we do. |
Jesus said...“ Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them, for the
kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Matthew 19:14 |
For a child, having faith in God is as natural as breathing. Jesus taught that the best example of true faith was the faith of a child. We count it a privilege to guard and encourage that faith to grow and become established on the Bible. A child’s faith is natural, but even faith must grow towards maturity. Paul tells us “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”
Our Sunday morning children’s ministry is planned with children in mind. Our classes in Boulder and Erie are led by teachers and leaders who love children, and we use age appropriate, Bible-based curriculum. Our classes are departmentally organized, providing special emphasis on world missions, service and ministry projects, in addition to their class curriculum. Children should have fun learning, and we use activities and methods in each class that involve each child in the learning process.
We invite you to come to one of our services on Sunday mornings, at 9:00 and 10:30 in Boulder and 10:30 in Erie. In Boulder, we encourage you to worship together as a family during one service, and then attend one of our adult classes while your child (or children) attend their own class during another.
We
hope you discover how much children matter and how much we honor
the privilege of working with you to see our children “grow
in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke
2:52). |
